1. General

These terms of use ("Terms") impose conditions on your access to this Site, and any use you make of it, so please read them carefully. KOREAN AIR reserves the right to change or modify any of the terms and conditions contained in the Terms or any policy or guideline of the Site, at any time and in its sole discretion. Your continued use of this Site following the posting of its changes or modifications will constitute your acceptance of such changes or modifications. 2. Definitions

The Supplier Portal (The "Portal") is an e-procurement system that is used for transactions of products and services via electronic devices such as computers to facilitate business or information exchange with a User.

"User" shall mean any entity logging into the Portal and engaging in business transactions or information exchange in compliance with these Terms.

3. Site License

Korean Air grants you a limited license to make personal use only of the Site. Such grant does not include, without limitation: (a) any resale or commercial use of the Site or content therein; (b) the collection and use of any product listings or descriptions; (c) making derivative uses of the Site and its contents; or (d) use of any data mining, robots, or similar data gathering and extraction methods.
You may not use, frame or utilize framing techniques to enclose any Korean Air trademark, logo or other proprietary information (including the images found at this Site, the content of any text or the layout/design of any page or form contained on a page) without Korean Air's express written consent.
Any unauthorized use of this Site will terminate the permission or license granted by these Terms and may violate applicable law including copyright laws, trademark laws (including trade dress), and communications regulations and statutes.

4. Disqualification

Korean Air shall be entitled to disqualify membership if a User engages in any of the following activities ;

(a) If the information in an application submitted for registration is untrue or misleading
(b) In the event operation of the Portal is disrupted, including but not limited to, changing information provided by the Portal
(c) In the event of violations of these Terms and Conditions
(d) In case it is deemed inappropriate to continue membership for reasons other than specified above.

5. Suspensions of Services

Korean Air shall reserve the right to temporarily suspend the Portal for maintenance, replacement of system, system breakdown, system interruption and/or for other reasons.

Notwithstanding any of these terms and conditions, Korean Air reserves the right, without notice and in its sole discretion, to terminate your license to use the Site, and to block or prevent future access to and use of the Portal.

Korean Air shall have no liability whatsoever for any damages, whether indirect, incidental or consequential in nature, suffered or claimed by a User or any third party resulting from suspension of the services stemming from the reasons above.

6. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the applicable laws of Korea, without resort to its conflict of law provisions. Such matters not specified in these Terms shall be pursuant to the Framework Act on Electronic Commerce, the Digital Signature Act, and other related rules and regulations of Republic of Korea. You agree that any action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to these terms shall be filed only in Seoul Central District Court, and you hereby irrevocably and unconditionally consent and submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts over any suit, action or proceeding arising out of these terms.

7. Contracting

It shall be deemed that applications for e-transaction services, including not limited to, cost estimates, negotiation and subcontracting, are accepted and the respective transaction is made, with the exception of the following cases ;

(a) In the event the details of application are contrary to fact or omitted on purpose or by mistake, or contain error.
(b) In the event the registration as a Member is deemed to cause obvious harm with respect to the technical aspects or the operation of the System.

8. Duties of Users

(a) The User shall use his own ID and Password to access the Portal.
(b) The User shall be responsible for the safekeeping and security of his own ID and Password.
(c) The User shall not allow any third party to use the User's ID and Password.
(d) In the case where the Portal is accessed by any unauthorized party using the User's ID and Password, it shall be deemed that such access has been made by the User.
(e) In the case where there is any harm or damage attributable to the User, for reasons which shall include, but not be limited to, improper management, error in usage and third party use of such User's ID and Password, such User shall be liable for any such damages arising from such actions.
(e) In case a User recognizes that his own ID and/or Password has been stolen or used by any third party, the User should immediately notify this to Portal Administrator at Korean Air Purchasing Department and follow his instructions, if any.


These Terms of Use is applicable as of January 1st, 2009.


Privacy Policy

1. Visitors and Authorized Users understand and agree that The Site may collect, maintain, and process information provided by such parties to Korean Air, and information collected by Korean Air concerning such Visitors and Authorized Users, on and through the Web Site. Visitors and Authorized Users represent and warrant that all information they provide to Korean Air is true, accurate, current, non-misleading, and consistent and relevant for the purpose for which such information is provided.

2. The Site may collect your personal information on the purpose of providing the service to fit your satisfaction(taste) through the statistics, analysis, and separate of user(s).

3. In some cases, Korean Air requests personally identifiable information from you in order to satisfy the underlying transaction or purpose of your accessing the Site. Examples of personally identifiable information include names, e-mail addresses, mailing addresses, and the like. Please note that we do not consider aggregated information, from which personally identifiable information has been removed, to be private.
We do not rent, sell, or trade any personally identifiable information about you (e.g., e-mail addresses) to third parties. In order to cooperate with legitimate governmental requests, subpoenas, or court orders, to protect Korean Air and/or Korean Air's systems and customers, or to ensure the integrity and operation of Korean Air and/or Korean Air's business and systems, Korean Air may access and disclose any information it considers necessary or appropriate under the circumstances.

4. From time to time, Korean Air may revise this Privacy Policy at its discretion. We note the date of the policy below, so you know when it was last updated. Korean Air advises you to check back periodically to review the Privacy Policy because users of the Site will be prospectively bound by the then-current version of this Privacy Policy.

5. Korean Air is trying to protect technologically your personal information from loss, burglary, hacking, alteration or damage. Korean Air will let you know immediately when we have a case like loss, burglary, hacking, alteration or damage of your personal information. But we are not responsible for the case you lost your personal information due to your fault. So you have to be careful for your ID and password not to be known to other people.
